Theodore Weinman, 64, R. 1, Rockford, died at 3
p.m. Sunday in University Hospital, Columbus, where he had been a
patient for two days. He had been ill for some time. He was born March
19, 1898 near Rockford, to George and Wilhelmina (Steffin) Weinman.
His first wife, the former Bertha Gehm whom he
married in 1921, died in 1927. He married the former Lydia
Kochersperger November 27, 1930, and survivors include two sons,
George, at home, and James, Lima; and two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ann
Ware of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Mrs. Naoma Strang of Columbus.
Four surviving sisters are Mrs. Anna Egger,
Mrs. Gertrude Roesener and Mrs. Marcella Hillyer, all of Fort Wayne;
and Mrs. Lillian Kagle of Caldwell, Idaho. Two brothers also survive,
Hugo, R. 1, Rockford, and Paul, Cleveland. There are eight surviving
grandchildren.
Mr. Weinman served two terms as clerk of
Liberty Township's Trustees and was a retired farmer. Friends may call
at Ketcham's Funeral Home, Rockford, after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until
noon Wednesday. That day, Rev.
Ralph Ground will conduct funeral services at Evangelical Lutheran
