Hulda (Bollenbacher) Miller Expires Near Willshire

Mrs. Hulda Miller, 63, wife of Fred J. Miller of R 1 Rockford, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday at her home in the Willshire area.

Yager Funeral Home of Berne has charge of the arrangements and friends may call in the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Born in Liberty Township, March 6, 1898, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Magdalena Distler Bollenbacher.

She was a member of St. Paul's  Evangelical and Reformed Church near Chattanooga, where the rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dr. Meredith Sprunger will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, a son Junior Carl Linn of R 1, Rockford; a stepson, Lester F. Miller, R 1, Rockford; three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Bollenbacher of: R 1 Celina and Mrs. Marion Baker of Berne, Ind.; two brothers, Jacob Bollenbacher of Convoy and1 Daniel Bollenbacher of R 1, Celina.

FUNERAL THURSDAY FOR MERCER COUNTY, OHIO WOMAN, 62

Mrs. Hulda Miller, 62, wife of Fred J. Miller, died at her home in Blackcreek Township, Mercer County, Ohio, at 9:45 p.m. Monday. The Miller family resides a mile north of Chattanooga, Ohio. Death was attributed to cancer and followed an illness of three months.

A lifelong resident of Mercer County, Mrs. Miller was born March 6, 1898, in Liberty Township, Mercer County, the daughter of Jacob and Magdalena (Distler) Bollenbacher. She was married to Mr. Miller Dec. 21, 1935.

Surviving in addition to the husband are a son, Carl Linn, Jr., Rockford, Ohio R. R. 1; a stepson, Lester F. Miller, Rockford, R.R. 1; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Bollenbacher, Celina, Ohio R. R. 1 and Mrs. Marion Baker, Berne R. R. 2 and two brothers, Daniel F. Bollenbacher, Celina R. R. 1 and Jacob Bollenbacher, Convoy, Ohio R. R. 4

Two brothers, John and William Bollenbacher and a sister, Emelie Bollenbacher, Miller, and eight half-brothers and half-sisters preceded in death.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Evangelical and Reformed Church in Liberty Township, Dr. Meredith Sprunger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
