John Kable, 91, Retired Farmer, Dies
John P. Kable, 91, retired farmer of Liberty
Township, died Thursday in the County Home, where he had been a
patient for six months. He had
made his home with his daughter until recently.
Born in Liberty Township, March 4, 1870, the
son of the late John and Margaret (Deitsch) Kable.
His wife, Anna Weitz Kable died 11 years ago.
Mr. Kable was a life member of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church in Liberty Township, and the rites will be held there
at 2:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev,
Robert Kuns will officiate and burial will be made in the Church
Cemetery.
W. H. Dick and Sons have charge of the
arrangements and friends may call there after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Surviving are his son, Rudy Kable, of Show-Low,
Arizona, a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Hulda) Brchm of R. 1, Rockford; a
brother, Jacob Kable of R. 1, Celina; a sister, Mrs. William (Sophia)
Bock of Celina; 12 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. One
daughter, Mrs. Otto (Edith) Fahncke is deceased.
Buried in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery
