T.S. Hinton Passes Away

 

 Thomas S. Hinton, 84, retired farmer and Stokley Van Camp employee, was found dead Friday afternoon at his home on Sycamore St., by a neighbor. His physician said death, due to natural causes, occurred at about 2 p.m.

 

Mr. Hinton was a native of Liberty Township, Mercer County. He was born April 29, 1879, and his parents were the late Frank and Isabel Hinton. His wife, Agnes Axe Hinton, died in September of 1959.

 

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Don (AJma) White. R, 1, Spencerville; one son, Aloys Hinton, Bryan; five grandchildren; one brother, Ora Hinton, Cincinnati two sisters, Mrs. D. R. Smalley, Celina and Mrs. Daniel Whitehead, Wabash, Ind.

 

Vale and Stein Funeral Home has charge of arrangements and friends may call there after 7 p.m. today.

 

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. John R. Powell  at 2 p.m. Monday, in the funeral home.

 

Burial will follow in Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
