Mabel Davis
Dies At 78
Mabel M. Davis, 78, 632 W. Anthony St., Celina, died Friday
at 11:55 a.m. at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 14, 1906, in Mercer County, the daughter of
Lewis and Mary (Brandon) Gaus .
She was married Sept. 13,
1924, to Russell T. Davis who preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1978.
Surviving is one son, the Rev. Don Davis, Union City.
Two brothers and one granddaughter are deceased.
Mrs. Davis was a retired employee of the General
Telephone Co., Celina, and member of St. John Lutheran
Church, Celina, where funeral services will be held Monday at
2 p.m.
The Rev. Ronald Wean will officiate and burial will be in
Swamp College Cemetery.
Friends may call at Stein & Lehman Funeral Home, Celina,
Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and after 1 p.m. Monday at the church.
