Richard Ezra Felver, 58, of Willshire passed away early Wednesday morning at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he was admitted the previous morning, following an illness of about five weeks.
Mr. Felver was well-known as owner and publisher of the former Willshire Herald which was succeeded by the Photo Star, for approximately 25 years, and at present was owner and publisher of the Buyers Guide of Bluffton, Ind.
He was born April 3, 1916 in Cadillac, Mich., a son of James O. and Ila (Brough) Felver. He was married November 22, 1939 to Freda Kable, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Mrs. Mary Catherine Williams of Ohio City, LeRoy Dee Felver, of Celina and Loisann Felver at home; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles D. (Esther) Wolfe of Willshire and Mrs. Lewis (Rema) Kable of route 3, Celina. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Zwick’s Funeral Home, Rev. Menzel officiating.
