Fred C. Brehm, 75, R. 3, Rockford, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Toledo Medical Center where he had been a patient one month.

 

Born Oct. 27, 1893 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late John and Margaret Weiman Brehm.

 

His first wife, Leota Kanorr, died in December of 1954. In June of 1957 he married Mona Kanorr and she preceded him in death June 29, 1968.

 

Surviving are five children, Harold and Roma Brehm, Celina; Mrs. Edith Brush, Mercer; Earl, R. 2, Rockford; and Paul, R. 1, Berne, Ind.; three stepchildren,   Mrs. Evelyn Vandenhovel, New Bremen; Harley Kanorr, Wapakoneta; and Walter Kanorr, Coldwater; one brother, Carl Brehm, Celina; one sister, Mrs. Gus White, R. 1,   Rockford;   eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

 

Mr. Brehm was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Liberty Township, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Ralph Ground is expected to officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Friends may call at Ketcham- Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, after 1:30 p.m. Thursday

until noon Friday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the time of services.
