Mary Rose Bennett, 69, of Celina died Tuesday
morning, Aug. 27, 2013, at her residence.
She was born December 8, 1943, in Eagle Pass,
Texas, to the late Maria Guadalupe (Garza) and Adolph Enriquez
Rodriguez. She married Greg
Bennett on October 23, 1965; and he preceded her in death on March 8,
2009.
Mary was a 1962 graduate of Parkway High School
and retired from Mercer County Job & Family Services. She was a member
of Immaculate Conception Church, Ladies Auxiliaries of VFW Post #5713
and American Legion Post #210, both of Celina. She was also active
with the Mercer County Cancer Association.
Surviving are a son, Michael (Mandy) Bennett of
Rockford; two grandchildren, Ruby and Charlie Bennett; seven brothers
and sisters, Jesse (Connie) Rodriguez of New Bremen, Benito Rodriguez
of Beaver, Helen (Jay) Litherland of Sarasota, Florida, Margaret
(Robert) McNaughton of St. Petersburg, Florida, Bebe Hicks of
Rockford, Beda (Robert) Sielschott of Lima and Judy (Brad) Mann of
Adrian, Michigan.
She was also preceded in death by a brother,
Adolph Rodriguez and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Esther Rodriguez.
Mary donated her body to The University of
Toledo College of Medicine.
Arrangements were handled by W.H. Dick &
Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
