T.A. Baker, 80, Dies At His Home

 

Services are set 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Celina, for the latte T.A. Baker, 80,522 N Buckeye, who passed away at his residence this morning, 7:15.

 

He was born June 12, 1880, in Chattanooga, the son of the late Jacob and Caroline Bollenbacher Baker.  He was a retired farmer, and had operated the Baker Hardware in Celina for a number of years.

 

He married Clara Anselman in 1904 and she survives together with one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Eulalia) Fox, Celina and one granddaughter, Mrs. George (Janis) Wilch, whose husband is pastor of the Washington Township Lutheran Church.

 

There are four sisters, Mrs. Mary Stuckey, R. 1 Rockford; Mrs. Albert Germann, Celina;  Mrs. Fredona Germann, Convoy and Mrs. M.A. Linn, R. Celina.

 

Rev. Don Bachman will officiate at the 2 p.m. services Saturday and burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at Vale and Stein Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday.  The body will be taken to the church at noon Saturday to lie in state until time of the rites.
